Taraneh Hockley

I am a UX designer based in Brooklyn, NYC.

As a graduate of the Master's of Industrial Design Program at Pratt Institute in New York City, as well as with having a BA in Architecture from the University of Colorado, I have been designing with a user-centered focus both in virtual and physical mediums.

While my passion started in designing physical objects that humans interact with in their day-to-day, I quickly found that much of the design process that goes into designing for how a user engages with a room or piece of furniture is much the same as designing for how a user engages with their digital spaces. As part of the design process, I love exercising deep empathy and putting myself in the user’s shoes to envision how they would want to interact with the product.
